Made with tapioca flour, vegetable fats, and natural flavorings, it boasts approximately 280 kcal per 100 grams. For optimal results, thinly slice it (3 mm) and place it on the pizza before baking in the oven. While it can be frozen, keep in mind that freezing may alter its smooth consistency, so it’s best kept chilled. Thicker slices (7/8 millimeters) can also be used for a classic caprese salad, although its mild flavor may benefit from additional seasoning.
